- Must be a student of any Educational Institution in Bangladesh
- Age limit: 6 years to below 18 years
- Parents of the applicant must be Bangladeshi Nationals

Key Features:
- Instalment shall be deposited on the DPS account opening date of each month
- Free auto instalment transfer from a linked account. No need to stand in the branch queue
- 7-days grace period for instalment payment after the due date without penal charge
- Missed instalment(s) within the stipulated time will incur a penal charge as per the product interest rate on the overdue amount
Note:
- Income tax on interest & Excise Duty will be as per prevailing regulatory guidelines
- Account must be operated by a legal guardian
- A current/savings account in UCB is mandatory for opening a DPS account
