Shariah Supervisory Committee

Dr. A. F. M. Akbar Hossain, renowned Islamic Scholar and Professor of Islamic University, Kushtia, is one of the members of the Shariah Supervisory Committee of UCB.

Professor Akbar is an honourable member of the Institute of Islamic Education and Research (IIER) as a representative of His Excellency President of Bangladesh. He dedicatedly engaged in disseminating modern Islamic education to enlighten the society.

Dr. Akbar has a good number of Islamic publications in national and international journals. He is also associated with a number of social organizations and Islamic activities.
